“It will be the first time I have introduced my paintings of World Heritage Sites to the world,” Nhan said.

“The paintings include Ha Noi’s Hoan Kiem Lake, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, My Son Sanctuary, Hue, Luang Prapang in Laos and Angkor Wat in Cambodia.”

The artist added he had asked his friends to send photos from around the world for him to recreate.

Nhan is the only artist in the ancient town to offer classes for foreign tourists.

According to the organisers, the heritage space programme will also see performers, artists and craftsmen from 16 provinces introducing their traditional cultures and arts.

The event is part of the 4th Quang Nam Heritage Journeys Festival which will be held in Hoi An and the My Son Sanctuary from June 21-26.
