“As I approached my forties, I began to recognize my inner voice – the real me – the interior silence – my unique style. Only then do the colors, arrangements, shapes, and forms in my art style take on their true form.
My previous experience with painting dates back many years. I’ve experimented a lot with various concepts for my art… yet it always ends up messy, like I wasn’t being true to myself or someone influenced me unconsciously.
I experience moments of helplessness, and despair, and assume that maybe art is not for me. Despite all this, I continue to work and encourage myself occasionally. I took inspiration from my friends, my family, and especially my two little girls. It is important to me to stay close to what I love most: simplicity, gentleness, peace, and innocence…
Just like that, I paint from dusk to dawn. I see art as a way to connect with my true self, as a place to meditate and heal my soul. Until one day… It became clear to me that I could communicate using the language of art. My deepest and truest self is expressed in art – there is no other way. In my art, I became a “paintbrush”, delivering shapes and colors.
I shared my art creations with my artists’ friends soon after, who suggested it would be great to share them with the public. Their reassurance restores my confidence. My deepest thanks go out to two dear friends I trust and respect – artist Thanh Chuong and writer Nguyen Quang Thieu. I was told, “This is A Sang! Share with the world!”
Therefore, I would like to share some of the art pieces that represent me – A Sang’s World! Thank you all!”
