Artist Ngo Ba Cong – Vietnamese Lacquer & Oil Paintings – Nguyen Art Gallery

The Journey into Art

Ngo Ba Cong was born in 1972 in Hanoi. He completed the Bachelor of University of Industrial Fine Arts – Faculty of Interior Design (1993-1999) and Master of Arts of Viet Nam University of Fine Arts (2003-2006). He worked at the National Institute of Culture and Art of Vietnam (2015-2019) and is currently teaching at the Faculty of Preschool Education at Hanoi National University of Education. He defended his doctoral thesis at the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies in 2020.

• 1996 – 1997: Solo and group exhibition at 45 – 61 Trang Tien, Hanoi
• 1998: Solo exhibition at Horison Hotel, 40 Cat Linh, Dong Da, Hanoi
• 1997 – 1998 – 2018 – 2003: Capital Exhibition in Hanoi
• 2017: Group exhibition at the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies
• 2018: Solo exhibition at 29 Hang Bai, Hanoi
• 2019: Solo exhibition at 50 Dao Duy Tu, Hanoi
• 2019: Group exhibition on the occasion of November 20 at Central College of Pedagogy
• 2022: Group exhibition on the occasion of Tet CHUART Chuong My Club, Hanoi
