The Journey into Art
Artist Nguyễn Lương Huyên, born in 1969, studied in the Graphic Design Department at the Vietnam University of Industrial Fine Arts and is currently a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association.
Born and raised in the Kinh Bắc countryside, artist Nguyễn Lương Huyên carries within his works the serene and humble memories of a peaceful homeland, where the deeply emotional melodies of Quan họ folk songs echo throughout his artistic expression.
With a deep passion and unwavering commitment to the arts, Nguyễn Lương Huyên primarily creates using acrylics. In addition, he devotes considerable time and dedication to the lacquer painting genre. Drawing on the contemplative essence of this traditional medium, his artworks evoke introspective, tranquil spaces rich in emotion and depth.
As an artist, he consistently demonstrates a careful, mature, and authentic approach to his practice—never chasing trends, but staying true to his own artistic path.
