Artist Tran Nam has been known as one of the veteran painters of Vietnamese fine arts. This U80 master has dedicated decades to creating magnificent artworks with themes of homeland landscapes and people in a realistic direction, flawlessly recreating the atmosphere and three-dimensional space while evoking profound emotions in the audience. As a rare “living heritage” of Southern Vietnam’s art community, his brushstrokes transcend mere canvas—they carve out a lifetime of cultural memories and timeless historical light.

His peerless devotion has been highly acclaimed by academic authorities: “At such an old age, Tran Nam is still healthy enough to draw, which is precious. He also works hard to compose continuously and produces high-quality Vietnamese artworks. He instills passion and love for art to us and the next generations” – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh, Rector of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts, shared. Today, his rare, highly coveted original masterpieces stand as top-tier investment assets for elite global connoisseurs, proudly curated and spotlighted by premier contemporary art institutions, including Nguyen Art Gallery
