About Bui Suoi Hoa

Bui Suoi Hoa is a contemporary painter based in Ho Chi Minh City. The daughter of an acclaimed, early twentieth century poet, Hoa’s passion for Vietnamese cultural heritage and self-expressionism are celebrated in her abstract paintings. Known for utilizing fierce brush strokes, intense colors and bold compositions to articulate aesthetic intuition, her works are highly introspective and spiritual. They illuminate not only the beautiful but also the tragic moments in nature, and in our lives.
