Hiep was born in village but grow up in city, when he was a littler boy already absorb the artistic sense from the father.
Abstractionism is the first choice his own modern art inspiration, since the first year of Hanoi Fine Art University in 2003. Hiep started reading, researching and painting abstractionism and really admired a saying of famous abstractionist artist KENISKIN “abstract is embodiment of realistic” Hiep said “that saying stick in my mind that gradually made me like going for a wander along Street, through narrow alley, looking every corners of the daily life. From experience of life I discover to the world surround that objectives moving but actually emotionless and others way around. And I don’t really observed the objects around by the eye but let my soul fall depth and long sleep and I saw hallucinations space which not belong to this world, I was in haunting status, sometimes half awaken dreaming. I was enclosed by a word which has no image, no shade, only whisper of soul. Step away it is not, no stop thinking, wandering aimlessly in dream. Are those present and dream only one?”
Hiep said “I use material of fine art such as oil, acrylic and mixed media on canvas to expose the selectively aspect of life”
Abstractionism is complicated like lives. The audiences might not have same view with each others even with the artist.
Through the piece colors, rough material and the expression of the artist on canvas, the audiences and artist can have the same though, share same feeling at others space without dating in advance
Dream and present
what we are thinking, seeing or doing at present from simple to complicated things. All have advantages or disadvantages impaction on our mind. We might forget those for while, for sure it would not disappear. It is still exiting in this form or others, and being stored in a Conner of our mind. That will be awakening up in our dream; it is on and off like uncertain images and objects.
Pass and Present. When we think of the pass or present, that though naturally happening at present, stand in front of abstract paintings the images with different colors, different size, or different material we have feeling it is like different destinies, your life could be one of those window. Piece of color on the canvas, suffusive of oil dripping or brush streaking it can be some life distance which one of us have overcome
